Hawaiian Monk Seal

I was out filming and a Hawaiian monk seal decided to come in and check me out. I was ready to grab all my gear and leave if it decided to come ashore, but I guess it wasn’t feeling the vibe so it swam in and then swam back out. Monk seals are critically endangered and you should never purposefully try to get near one. It was total happenstance that I caught this moment on camera, and it’s not exactly ASMR, but it’s pretty cool and super rare.
