Who is Mountain Stew?
Howsit, my name is Braddah Cody and I’m born and raised in Kahaluʻu on the island of Oʻahu. I’ve been hiking and camping in the Koʻolau mountains since I was 6 years old and in 2014 I began solo hiking along the summit ridge with camping soon to follow.
My goals with these videos are to document the unique experience of solo camping on the Koʻolau summit ridge for the enjoyment of a wider audience and to provide guides, gear reviews, recipes and other useful information to anyone who wants to backpack or camp in the Koʻolau mountains. I have a background in photography and also enjoy filming longer, more ASMR type videos as well.
